Hay EZ began with a simple goal: to make everyday barn life easier. I’ve been around horses and animals my whole life, running my own barn and traveling constantly to rodeos and jackpots. And like many others, filling hay nets was always a struggle. I tried everything—holding them open with my knees, using muck buckets, trash cans, laundry baskets, sliding a net over one end flip it over slip on net on the other end then cut the strings, and still ending up with hay everywhere or never being able to pack the net full. It was frustrating, time–consuming, and hard on my back.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with a back condition, and bending over or lifting upward for long periods became painful. Feeding the horses I love shouldn’t have to hurt. That’s when the idea for Hay EZ was born. I wanted a way to make hay net filling quicker, cleaner, and easier on the body—while still allowing nets to be packed tightly and efficiently.

I created these stands to solve a real problem I was facing every day. And when friends in the horse community began asking for their own, I realized it wasn’t just my problem—this could help others too.
